Home Sweet Home
Honestly guys. So many of you are acting puh-thetic. I'm completely unimpressed. Let me count the reasons...
1) Girls (again) commenting on my blogs and complaining about our "fakeness". First of all, how many times do I need to say that we are real people? If you don't believe it, get over it. But think of it this way. If we were fake, and you're taking the time to read our blogs, who's really the more pathetic one?
2) Rhymes with witches! Actually, there is only one in particular. You know who you are. The rest of you know who she is. She brags about her "wealth" (ahem, as Leesh pointed out earlier, if she was wealthy, there would be no use saying so). She is also a repeat offender of almost all of the fashion DON'Ts that I have posted. Tacky, bitchy, and fake all in one. We looked into it, and either you have bipolar disorder, or you are simply senile. One minute she posts "hey, it's so nice that you're back!" and the next "ugh...fakes". Pick one. And do us all a favor and don't come back here? BTW, saw your stories...totally ripping of Lisi much?
However, being the magnanimous person that I am, I must give credit where credit is deserved. There have been so many of you that have been leaving nice comments on the blog. They are always appreciated :). TPC loves that kind of feedback. For those of you who choose not to be so friendly...your comments will no longer be enabled. Sorry.
Anyway, it's so nice to be home with Bean. It's not as cold here as I expected it to be (around 45ish?) and that is a ha-yooj improvement from last time i was here! Thank Gawd is all I can say.
In response to the poll that so many of you voted in, it is clear that you all want to see more fashion tips and current state of the unions. I'll be happy to oblige! A few of you still want to know what's going on in our lives, and those of you have an AWESOME surprise coming up! Should I tell you? Yeah...I think so.
So I've noticed that there are some fans of other PC members than me. And since this blog is kind of my "thing", I decided that each member of TPC will post a blog about their Spring Break, just to mix things up a little bit! Those will be showing up any time, as all of the members have my password. That'll be totally fun, right?
Nothing much has happened to me since I last spoke to you. Zack and I had our bitter departure from each other... although we exchanged screennames and such...I know this won't be the last of him. Sorry, still no more scoop about that. I prepare to let what happens in St. Barts to stay in St. Barts.
It's really late (or early, depending on how you look at it), so I'm only going to post a few fashion tips for now. The rest of the PC will post their own, too, if for whatever reason my style isn't...."you".
Fashion do's:
-Cute, mid-thigh length skirts. My personal fave of the moment is that navy Juicy one with the buttons down the front and the white polka dots all over it. Pair it with the navy Marc by Marc Jacobs dove shirt, and you're good to go :)
-Long, flowy dresses paired with Greek or Roman-esq sandals. I cannot stress how huge this is for summer!
-Skinny jeans are still a must-have for early Spring. Pair them with some cute ankle boots and a long sleeve shirt and you will be cute as can be.
I'll finish with the much awaited Current State of the Union. Again, thanks for being so loyal :)
IN: * OUT:
Beans and Brownies * Lizards and Fish
Melty snow * Warm sand
Late nights * Early mornings
Cool, classy girls * Aly
Whoops, was that too blunt? Hope a girl can take a hint ;)
Love always,
Massie

Calling All OCD Girls!! (And boys)
Hello everyone,
Gawd, how much do you hate that Spring break is winding down? That means no more smoothies, no more tanning, no more ocean water in the background. UGH! To distract all of you, I've come up with a list of things that you M-U-S-T must do before we get back to school!
1) Lotion. All the time. Your tans will fade if you don't keep your skin properly moisturized. Worst case, you might even start peeling! Hop to it!
2) Yes, our manis and pedis have faded since spring break has started...go get them re-colored! (Yesteday someone asked what color would be good...go with a light pink or a french, because it'll make your tan POP).
3) Deep cleansing facials are essential before we see each other again. All the sunblock has clogged your pores, no doubt, and if you aren't careful you are going to break out (can you say E-W?)
4) Go shopping. I can't tell you how disappointed I have been in the unthoughtful ensembles I have been seeing around school. You guys definitely need to step it up for the last quarter!
5) Start a project. If you're one of those messy types, clean your room and closet. If you're artsy, make a collage of spring break photos so you'll never forget how much fun you had. It will make you feel organized and ready when we finally get back to school.
6) Go to the Elizabeth Arden Red Door Salon, pronto! Who knows what the saltwater has done to your hair? Ahb-viously it will be booked, but tell them that Massie sent you, kay?
7) Email me and tell me about all of your adventures! I cannot wait to hear what kinds of situations all of you got into!
That should give you plenty to do before school starts. But while you're still here...
Some people definitely misunderstood what I said about preppy (sometimes, in small doses) being cute. I did not mean that you should go run to Abercrombie and buy a bunch of crappy clothes there. GROSS! Not only is that store BOH-ring with a capital "B", everything is also poorly made and ugly (sorry, Kris). If you're on a budget, shop the sale racks at Neiman's...under no circumstance is it justified to walk into any store like Abercrombie!
Also on the outs:
-Those shoes that are flats, yet tennis shoes at the same time (you know the kind I'm talking about...the ones that look like the Keds that Mischa Barton is always sporting). Coach and even Tory Burch have been repeat offenders in this field. Pick tennis shoes or flats, but don't try to combine them! If I see any of you back at school wearing these, know that I am judging you! ;)
-Subdued colors. Brights are in this Spring, girls, so go all out!
-White nailpolish (though I never quite understood how that ever got "in"...). Regardless, don't do it. Period.
-Cashmere sweaters. Relax! Only for Spring and Summer! Come Fall, you can bust them all out again. I know I will.
-The typical "Myspace picture". Yeah, that's right. Those pictures that you clearly took of yourself (either by looking in the mirror or reaching way out in front of you). They're lame. If you don't have enough friends to take pictures with, we have bigger problems.
That's all for now. I'll give you an update of my trip soon-ish. Right now I'm heading out to breakfast! Then my mom and I will get a reflexology massage! What fun, what fun.

St. Barts, the Island of Love
Hey everyone,
So for starters, I'll just have you know that my bangs look awesome! I am totally loving them!
Only a few problems have come up throughout the course of this lovely vacation.
1) The issue of shopping.
2) The issue of communication. We are all on different time zones, and I can't seem to catch anyone (and how 2000 is email? SICK).
3) Okay, let's face it. Almost every vacation destination (with the exception of Italy) has food, not necessarily good, that is different to our systems. St. Barts is no different. So what is the result of this, you ask? Well, go for the American foods, of course. In other words, sugar is a temptation everywhere!
4) Lack of boys!
Being the very insightful girl that I am, I have come up with simple solutions to the above problems, as I am sure that many of you have come across the same issues. Listen closely girls, because this is advice coming straight from Massie's head:
1) Not too difficult. Us girls love shopping because we love the feeling of making progress, and improving ourselves. Go online! Shop! Neiman's, Nordstrom, eLuxury, Barney's, Anthropologie, you name it! Not only will you feel better about yourselves when you are done, but when you get home, feeling all miserable because you're freezing again, you'll be greeted by boxes upon boxes of new, ah-mazing purchases! It's a total win-win.
2) I, like many of you, I assume, cannot stand not having cellular service. So aside from this blog, which is more of a favor to you, really, I have cut myself off almost entirely from my friends. Eliminate the drama and catfights, because this is Spring BREAK! It's not like you'll never see your friends again, after all.
3) I know I've always told all of you that sugar is far from your best option in terms of snacking. And I maintain that. When you have a sweet tooth, go for some grapes, an apple, or a banana. However, as this is a vacation, even I have been snacking on a few M & M's here and there. Don't worry though, you won't be seeing the results of those on my thighs, because I'm doing yoga and tennis every day. I'll be as trim as ever when I get back!
Alright, now that that's covered, and before I answer my fourth problem, I'll get to what I'm sure you've all been wondering. First of all, what's going on with me and Dempsey, and second, why I titled this blog "The Island of Love". Read closely. Even closer.
For those of you that don't actually know me, but have found this blog one way or another, let me fill you in on a little secret...DEMPSEY IS NOT A REAL PERSON. Okay?
Also, Derrington and I called it quits a while ago. I need someone who doesn't like hanging out with a bunch of sweaty guys and balls (excuse the unfortunate pun) than me. Done.
So being single, I have ahb-viously not been totally immune to the abundance of physical male perfection around here. Being Massie Block, I really haven't even found it necessary to introduce myself to any of these hotties. One of them, we'll call him *Zack, made himself known to me, and we have since hung out a few times. I can't say for sure where this is going, ladies, but you know I'll keep you up to date.
Fashion tips seemed to be a big hit yesterday. I have a few special ones for you devoted readers, created specially for this time and day.
1) In: aviator sunglasses are b-a-c-k back! If you're still wearing those metal-rimmed sunglasses that are not aviators, they are on the outs. Dunzo. End of story.
2) Out: Flip flops! Especially the tacky Juicy ones, that everyone seems to find so...chic? No. I don't care if you're going to the beach. You always must be a 9, no matter what. Flip flops are an automatic 6 or below. Ouch.
3) In: Glaceau Vitamin water and Pellegrino water. Sugary sodas are a com-plete waste of calories. They're not even that good.
4) Light make up! I can't tell you how many girls back home (you know who you are) are overdoing their eye make up. No no no. The full eye-lined look matched with the colorful eye-shadow is more out than backwards caps and shoulder pads. Black mascara, black eyeliner on your bottom lids, foundation, and lipgloss are all you need. Period.
I'm running out of time. Have any questions or comments? Comment on the blog. Want to get to know me better? Ask me for my screenname. But please, those rando bitch fits on my blogs? Puh-lease. I am Massie Block. End of story. This is not make believe. If you don't want to read about us, leave. If you don't like each other, sort it out yourselves. Honestly, fighting on someone else's blog? Could you be any tackier?
Massie.

I'm Baack ;)
Hello my little darlings,
I know it's been a long time. And do you want to know why it's been so long? This, my friends, can solely be attributed to yourselves. Do you know how un-fun it was so see all of your obnoxious responses to my blogs? I put these out for you, and this is how I'm repaid?
But, whatever. To be honest, I'm over it. You should be the ones that are embarrassed. Look at this girl who commented on my last blog...she calls herself Massie. She's faker than Dolly Parton.
So I suppose you'd like to know what is going on with me and TPC. We are currently on spring break, all in different places. I myself am in St. Barts, my absolute favorite place in the world (as you know, French is the language of choice on this beautiful island). Dyl and Kris went out to Jamaica, and Claire is back in Orlando (surprise, surprise).
I suppose you continue to check back here to find out what is in for Spring. Girls, dresses are always a top choice! I recently purchased this adorable blue, black, and white jersey dress from some company I haven't heard of before...rag and bone is what I think it's called. (I got it at Nordstrom, so don't think I've become classless...it's not who I am). Juicy coverups are also cute for hanging going shopping. What to wear with these dresses? Well, you have a few options.
1) Roman Gladiator style sandals are my shoe of choice for this season! Black, brown, gold, you name it! They're all fahb-you-lous for Spring. If you're looking for some good ones, www.ShopBop.com has some great options.
2) Alright... I'll admid it. Claire kinda got me hooked on sneakers. If you have a cute, casual (preferably jersey?) dress, you can make it look even more indie and bohemian (Rachel Bilson is my inspiration here) by wearing a cute pair of (low-top only) Converse allstars. Before you go and say it's tacky, trust me, it's definitely not. Living in the city, I see all of the most fabulous people you can imagine, and all of my sources, yes, including Aurelie, have told me that it is totally chic.
3) A cute pair of flats are always a possibility. However, don't try anything too daring by mixing totally different colors together. As always, there are exceptions to this rule. For example, if your dress is black, go ahead, wear whatever color shoes you want (except black or red...this will come off as goth...definitely not cute. No time, and no place for goths). Also, if you have a navy dress, red flats are always super cayoot.
Out here, I've been observing the many celebrities and their choices of shorts. Let me tell you, those super short jean shorts with no shape...totally out! (Can you say "ghetto fabulous" withOUT the "fabulous"? That style has totally G2G more than Avril's wannabe punk-princess style.) Hudson recently came out with this great pair of dark-wash denim shorts with pleats. They come up to just barely below the belly button, and they're totally chic.
I also recently purchased a pair of purple Marc by Marc Jacobs shorts. Again, super short is always a no-no. They come down to mid-thigh, and they're fabulously chic.
I'll admit, the preppy style has caught on a bit, even for me. You know I've never been into the completely stereotypical legacy-prep look, but plaid shorts with some layered Lacostes can be totally sophisticated.
I know you want to know what my plans are for the day, so I'll fill you in. First, I'm going to go tan by the ocean, and read a little bit (while fashion is always my top priority, I still like to keep up with my studies). Then I'll probably play a little bit of tennis with the local pros. Then, I'm going to go to the Fern Tree Salon and get some...drumroll please...bangs! I'm totally sick of my classic layers and no bangs. Can you say boh-ring? Totally D2M. I know it'll look fierce (that's another thing I haven't talked about...Christian from Project Runway!). If you even think about copying my new look, don't forget, I have it in writing that I was going to do it first. Don't let it even cross your mind that you might not get totally busted by TPC.
More later,
Massie

I'm totally sick of my classic layers and no bangs. Can you say boh-ring? Totally D2M. I know it'll look fierce (that's another thing I haven't talked about...Christian from Project Runway!). If you even think about copying my new look, don't forget, I have it in writing that I was going to do it first. Don't let it even cross your mind that you might not get totally busted by TPC.
More later,

Monday
Sorry about the boh-ring title, guys. I couldn't think of what rhymes with Monday other than "funday", and how lame would that sound?
Anyway, today TPC was going to have a semi-private tennis lesson at the courts at my house. But why couldn't we? You guessed it, RAIN. But I've decided that complaining about Westchester's miserable weather won't actually change anything. So what would Massie do in this situation you ask? Well, make the best out of a bad situation, of course! I called up the rest of TPC and we went back to school shopping. In honor of the current weather, I got some Marc Jacobs "Rain" perfume. We hit Ralph Lauren and got new fluffy cashmere sweaters and cords for fall. I also decided to get a new messenger bag. You all remember my old nylon Prada messenger, but since everyone else in the school decided to copy that, I went for a Kate Spade one instead. It looks pretty much the same, but I added that ah-dorable Louis Vuitton signature rainbow charm keychain to it, and now it's totally me. I also got those ah-dorable Emilio Pucci rain boots. They match the flats that TPC bought. Now whether it's rain or shine, I'll be totally cute!
Later, once TPC was gone, Bean seemed a little down. She didn't even want to play with her new Sniffany & Co. toy. So I took her to that little pet boutique where Paris Hilton shops and we went shopping for her too. Oh my god, the people there fell in LOVE with her, and were SO helpful. I got her a cute little Burberry jumper, 3 Hermés scarves, 3 satin robes (purple, light blue, fuschia), 5 Ralph cashmere sweaters, Ugg boots in chestnut, chocolate, and blonde, a ton of Swarvoski crystal hair clips, and a Diamond necklace (it's about the size of a bracelet for us, but it fits her delicate little neck purr-fectly).
She definitely cheered up after that. I guess that boutique for her is like what Tiffany & Co. is for Holly Golightly.
A lot of you that don't go to OCD have been asking how to form your own Pretty Committee and how to get popular. Here's my little How-to for all of you not in the know.
1) First and foremost, you have to be born with it. I'd like to tell you that popularity is based on inner beauty, but without outer beauty and that kind of confidence that you are just born with, you don't have a chance.
2) Hang out with cool people. You know who I'm talking about. Some people are just naturally cool, whether they're playing tennis, eating lunch, or going to the toilet, they are simply fabulous. You get in with them, you get in with everyone. However, this doesn't mean stalking them. If you do that, you'll be worse off than you already are. You need to find someone to laugh at with them, and eventually you'll get to know each other. But under no circumstance should you keep pursuing them if they're not into it. If they don't want to hang out with you, 9 times out of 10 that's not going to change.
3) Don't make fun of your friends, even if people more popular than you are encouraging you to laugh at them. By doing this, they'll see that not only are you an unloyal friend, but you're straight up mean. Only make fun of real LBR's.
4) Dress well. No matter what. You can never be seen without being at least a 9. End of story.
5) Don't be something you're not. Don't pretend to like things or be things if that's really not who you are. If you're meant to be cool, you will be, otherwise...sorry, I guess.
On that note, I want to point out that the majority of OCD does not obide by these rules. Constantly girls are trying to suck up to me in order to get IN with TPC. Not gonna happen. No one will be added to the Pretty Committee. Sorry to dissapoint, but the generosity ends with Claire.
This is totally off subject, but I'd just like to say that I enjoy having all these new people reading my blogs. Just don't say any eternal wannabe-esq things about my blogs, kay? Wannabees and LBR's are so dead to me. If you're going to be cool, go ahead, ask me questions. I realize that most people wish they could be me. And out of the kindness of my heart, I will always answer your questions.
I don't have much else to say, but I hope you are all picking out outfits for my party. Believe me, you don't want to be the one with the bad outfit. It'll be total blog-candy, and you know I'll be the first to rip you to shreds.
Love,
Massie

Sunday Morning Rain Is Falling
Hey everyone! I hope you all had a fabulous weekend! I certainly did:
Saturday morning was tough. We all had a really hard time getting out of bed at 9:35 because we'd just gone to sleep 2 hours earlier. But Inez made a Starbucks run and I got my venti non-fat, no water, extra hot, no whip Dulce de Leche latté. That woke me up!
After that, TPC went to the pool and tanned for about 5 hours. After everyone went home, I took a quick nap and went shopping solo at the Westchester. I know all of you LBR's are wanting to know what's in for fall, and I'll give you a few hints. Ahb-viously gray is the IT color for fall, but shades of browns, dark purples, navy blues, and dark greens are totally hot for fall. You know how I told you my mom let me get a personal shopper? Well I met her yesterday. Her name is Aurelie and she's actually from France! It gave me a grate oppertunity to work on my French. But I'll just tell you, she's ah-mazing! As soon as she got all of my measurements and shoe size, we hit Nieman's and I didn't even have to move! She did a lap around the store and came back with an arm full of clothes. I have to admit, after seeing some things on the hanger, I was a little unsure about how I felt about her style, but when I went to try everything on, totally honestly, everything fit purr-fectly! Next we hit Juicy, BCBG, Gucci, Lilly Pulitzer, Louis Vuitton, Michael Kors and Anthropologie. She even helped me carry my bags (not that there was much of a choice, I kid you not, there were 14 bags), and helped me hang them up in my closet! It looks ah-mazing! I almost want to take a picture and put it on here, but I don't want too many people to copy my fall fashion ideas.
P.S., I know Aurelie sounds awesome, but she is unavailable to work for any of you or your parents. My mom threw an extra bonus in for her, so she wouldn't work for any OCD kids or their families. Sorry guys, but I guess "finders keepers" applies to this situation.
Today I briefly hit Nordstrom on the way home from the barn. I didn't get much except James Perse black cropped leggings and a pink long sleeve Lacoste polo. It matches my new Lilly sweater vest perfectly!
I know I should be really happy about all of my new purchases, but I can't shake this uneasy feeling I get whenever it rains. it totally brings me down. But the news I'm about to tell you will be the exact opposite. Ready? Okay well you know how we're all totally stressing about school starting? Well, Don't dread it too much, because I'm throwing a party in honor of us being 8th graders. Here's the details:
It will be on Friday, August 24th at my house, in the backyard. The theme is Fall, so wear earth tones. It's semi-dressy, so either wear a casual dress, or a cute top and a skirt or something. Invites have been sent to the entire 8th grade class of Briarwood and OCD. You can RSVP via blog comments if you want, otherwise just email me back or text me. Hope to see you all there!
On a different note, I've been getting some questions asked. I will answer them here, so it is known to the general public.
Q) If you're going into 8th grade, why does your profile say you're 15?
A) My profile says that I'm 15 because most of these websites have minimum age limits. I didn't know what the limit was for this particular site, so I said my birthday was in 1992.
Q) Why do you keep deleting my questions on your blogs?
A) Because, like I've said many times before, the blog comments are for me and my friends' particular use only. If you are unsure of whether you classify as my friend, check the list on one of my earlier blogs. However, I realize that some of you don't go to OCD or Briarwood but you don't know how to talk to me if it's not through the comments. For this reason, I've decided to allow all of you to post comments if you'd like to say something to me. Whether I delete the question or not is ahb-viously up to me, but I will always answer them.
In conclusion, I'd just like to say thanks to those who continually support and compliment me. It is greatly appreciated! Never hesitate to leave me a nice comment, I will always reply to them. However, if you're going to insult me to make your sorry self feel better about being an LBR; save it. I don't hesitate to verbally slap people that think they're cooler than me. I know that if I told you that you could be in TPC, you'd jump at the chance.
One more thing, some of you have been insulting me on one name and complimenting me on another. I can see who you are, because of your IP address. So I can tell which of you are fake and which of you are real. I'd stop if I were you, or you just might find yourself on my shitlist. Believe me, that's not where you want to be.
I've decided to give everyone at OCD and Briarwood the password to chat in my blog, so you can all chat in my blogs now. For those of you who don't go to said schools, when your username appears as black, I know you're not who you say you are. And like I said earlier, I can track who you actually are. Much love!
